The Copper Clam is a family run beachfront seafood restaurant in the historic arches on Brighton seafront, with magnificent views of the West Pier and a stone's throw from The Lanes, the Brighton Centre and the i360.
Much of the produce arrives fresh off the boat each day. Alongside it, quality Sussex steaks, fine wine and champagne, classic cocktails and premium spirits, served in a relaxed beachfront setting.
Dine inside the restored arches, or al fresco on the terrace just metres from the shore.
The speciality
Native lobster, landed a stone's throw away
Caught only a stone's throw from the restaurant on Brighton beach, our lobsters are as fresh and as local as they come, and they are what the Copper Clam is known for.
Served chilled or grilled with garlic butter, whole or half, as a thermidor, in a lobster roll on rice bread, or at the centre of the sharing platters. Native Lobster is £35 for a half and £70 whole; Lobster Thermidor £40 and £70.

Ingredients are locally sourced where possible and cooked to order. A selection is below; the kitchen also runs a catch of the day.

A beachfront room for the occasion
Bespoke set menus, canapes or a buffet to suit the occasion and the budget. The restaurant is licensed until 1.30am.

The whole restaurant, the Copper Clam bar and the beachfront terrace, with bespoke packages built around the group.
